Comparative characterization of recombinant Escherichia coli lux+ being used for phagocytosis estimation
The bioluminescence and survival of recombinant bacteria Escherichia coli with lux-operon of Vibrio fischeri (Ekoljum-5) и Photorhabdus luminescence (Ekoljum-8) in opsonin and neutrophil presence were studied. It was established that the phagocytosis of Ekoljum-8 actively proceeded with the intact serum pool. Ekoljum-5 bioluminescence thermosensitivity has served as the reason for low neutrophil phagocytic activity index.
